About me
My professional life started in the performing arts and in arts education, where I developed a deep interest in teaching performance and communication skills.
It was while at music college that I developed what has turned out to be a life-long fascination with the work of C G Jung and psychoanalysis more broadly. I hold a master’s degree in the Psychology of Religion from Heythrop College in the University of London.
I subsequently developed over 25 years professional experience of working with and listening to people from a diverse range of contexts and backgrounds and in a variety of pastoral, educational, supervisory, and therapeutic settings, particularly at key points of challenge and transition in their lives. I work in both institutional and private settings.
I am also an experienced trainer, educator, and spiritual director. Academically, I am an interdisciplinary practical theologian, writing and publishing on issues around practical theology and its interface with depth psychology.

I am a student member of the West Midlands Institute of Psychotherapy and a trainee member of the British Psychoanalytic Council.
